On the home stretch
Nov. 30th, 2010 05:54 pmI've written 40 pages of academic papers since Wednesday. That's not counting the 18 single-spaced pages of transcription I did for Interviewing Skills on Friday. Three papers total, one submitted electronically on Saturday, the other two turned in during class today.
Holy crap. I am exhausted.
I'm taking tonight off, but then it's into the home stretch. I have one more paper (a short one, thank god), two presentations, and two final exams next week. That and a meeting with my advisor, which I'm supposed to treat as a mock interview for my internship placement. How I'm supposed to appear composed, prepared, and articulate with everything else going on next week, I have no idea. But I'll get through it somehow.
I notice it's the end of NaNoWriMo. I so wish I could have participated. This month has been an academic NaNoWriMo for me, but I didn't emerge from it with a novel.
Wish me luck for the next week. I'll need it.
