podfic plans update

 Okay, so May did not work out as planned. There are excuses - construction across the street, time spent out of town, a cold that knocked me on my ass - but still. I am disappoint.

But! Hey! My voice is back, and my summer semester schedule is weirdly conducive to making podfic!

As guilty as it makes me feel, I have to put the epic length podfics back on the shelf. Just for the next month or so, I promise. I'm overdue posting my help_japan  lightning round podfic, and that has to come first. After that there are a couple of <5000 word podfics, and a very exciting podfic project to be announced very soon on a comm where I recently signed on as co-mod!   \o/ Head on over to podfic_project  and check it out!

I meant to share this earlier, but forgot.

I know no one is ever interested in anyone else's dreams (unless they're a Jungian), but I'm sorry, I have to.

Last night I dreamed I was at some kind of conference or convention specifically about podfic. There was a huge room full of people sitting facing a stage, where a panel was just about to begin. At the back of the room there was a long table stocked with all kinds of delicious looking vegan baked goods, with coffee being served at either end. I came in and loaded up a plate with donuts and chocolate frosted pastries, accepted a cup of coffee, and headed towards my seat.

That's where the dream (or my recollection of it) ends. Podfic, vegan treats, and coffee. And more than that - a room full of people who shared my love for all three of those things. It felt incredible. I woke up refreshed and excited.

And seriously craving some vegan donuts.
