The last two weeks have been pretty awful. There's been this whole ugly thing with my school and my internship site, and the short story is that my site supervisor is awesome, my adviser at school is an ass, and that until yesterday afternoon I was unable to even start working on the 40 page paper I need to write in order to graduate. This thing was supposed to be due on Tuesday. I've been granted an extension (the one thing everyone agrees on is that this whole thing isn't my fault), but seriously, y'all. My plan was to spend February sweating over this paper. Now I'll be doing all that sweating in the next 2 1/2 weeks.

Did that paragraph make sense to anyone who's not me? The paper has to be on a client I'm providing ongoing therapy to at my internship site. My site's been going through a weird thing, and as a result I've been seeing exclusively short-term, 1-2 session clients for the last couple of months. Which is fine, but not compatible with the requirements of my paper. As of yesterday, I officially have a client I can use. I know that writing 40 pages plus another 20-30 in session transcripts in the next couple of weeks is going to really suck, but right now I'm just so relieved that I don't even care.

I have two collaboration squares, and plans for one collaboration with cantarina1 in the works already. Just looking at this card takes my brain fun places.

Unrelated - did anyone else watch the series premiere of Awake? I thought it was in-fucking-credible. I'm really hoping it stays this high quality. It was gorgeous, and it broke my heart in all the right ways.

Okay, now I'm just procrastinating. I hope everyone on my flist is doing well, and that the weather has been gentle wherever you are.
