Podfic as a fan art is still relatively small, even if it's growing quickly. There are positive steps that can be taken to help podfic as a fan art grow. To learn how check out pod_aware on LJ or DW.

It's the last day of pod_aware! I don't have a podcast or meta to post, but I do come bearing podfic. I started these a couple of months ago and got hung up somewhere along the way. I felt okay about one but wanted to re-record the other, and I really wanted to post them together, and blah blah blah. I love Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I love these two short fics by mannaplowsk. This is what I did about it.

My school let out for Spring Break, so naturally my immune system went somewhere warm and sunny, leaving me in wet, snowy Chicago with a nasty head cold.

I'm spending today writing a case study for Existential-Humanistic Psychotherapy, due via email on Monday afternoon. I got to pick any substantial fictional character from literature, television, or film to be my client for the study. I chose Sarah Connor. I spent Thursday watching the first two movies and a handful of T:SCC eps preparing for this thing, and I'm kind of excited about it. If it turns out well I might post it here, as meta. We'll see.

Other things going on this week: I have three interviews lined up for my internship in the fall. One on Monday, the other two on Tuesday. I'm still waiting to hear from the other three sites I applied to. I ought to at least get a head start on some of the assignments due the week after the break, and I still have to go to work. All that, and I'm seriously jonesing to record some podfic. I have my two epics waiting for me, and I just volunteered to look at some stories in Fringe, T:SCC, and BSG fandoms to possibly record.

It took two weeks to record a little over 15 minutes of material, but it's finally done!

I loved this series so much, and when I stumbled across twasadark 's lovely reading of danahid 's "Fewer Than You Think", I knew I needed more t:scc fic in my life. "Fall Through The Night" is a sequel to "Fewer Than You Think", but you don't have to read "Fewer Than You Think" first. (Though you should still definitely read it. It's fantastic.)
